Created for K-5 learners, Kidspiration® 2 provides an easy way to apply the proven principles of visual learning. Students build graphic organizers by combining pictures, text and spoken words to represent thoughts and information.

These are links for ideas and uses of Kidspiration Software. They were gather from the Marco Polo listserv. For information on Marco Polo see the link from the home page.

  • Kidspiration links: This page has various links to other sites that provide information and/or ideas relating to using Kidspiration, Inspiration, or Visual Learning.

  • Carteret County Public Schools: The following Kidspiration activities were created by
    Mary Willis and Janet McLendon. You will have to have Kidspiration installed on your machine. The activities are grouped by grade level.
  • North Canton City Schools: North Canton City Schools elementary teachers explored ways to integrate visual learning and thinking skills into their curriculum areas during a Professional Development study group. After becoming comfortable with Kidspiration, they created lessons and concept maps for their classes. These lessons are showcased to be used as a resource for educators. Please feel free to download the files and use with your students.
  • Kidspired Tales: Project examples designed by Pattie & susan for the "Kidspired Tales" Project.
  • Kinderhive: The teacher has created these templates for use with my Kindergarten students. Many of the activities correspond to books They have read in class. You must have Kidspiration to view and use these templates.
  • Kidspiration Activities: You will find a up to date (revised in mach 2004) list of activities. They have provided a preview and download button for you convience. The activites are organized by subjects.
  • DCIU Delaware County Intermediate Unit: The following are Kidspiration Activities and Libraries that can be downloaded onto your computer. Please read "How to Transfer a Kidspiration Activity" before downloading.
